Board & Leadership Committee

Hope, Opportunity & Mental Empowerment (HOME) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to expanding accessible, equitable mental health care for all. As our organization grows, we are seeking committed leaders to join our Board of Directors and Leadership Committee.

HOME provides 100% telehealth mental health services, including sliding-scale therapy, free support groups, case management, and community resources. Our work is trauma-informed, culturally grounded, and centered on dignity, accessibility, and holistic wellness—supporting emotional, physical, and spiritual health.

Leadership Opportunities

Board of Directors

We seek experienced professionals with backgrounds in:

  • Nonprofit governance and executive leadership
  • Mental and behavioral health (licensed clinicians or public health professionals)
  • Nonprofit governance and executive leadership
  • Legal, finance, or fundraising (attorneys, CPAs, grant writers, major gifts strategists)
  • Community engagement, advocacy, partnerships, or public affairs

Leadership Committee

This committee supports program development and organizational operations. Ideal experience includes:

  • Program design and evaluation
  • Volunteer coordination and organizational culture
  • Community outreach and partnership
  • Fund development and grant planning

Commitment Expectations

  • Quarterly board meetings (virtual or in person)
  • Participation in at least one committee
  • Annual planning session and quarterly check-ins
  • Active engagement in strategic planning and community representation

📍This is a remote, telehealth-based leadership opportunity, open to individuals in Southern California and beyond who are passionate about mental health equity.
